Clinical Significance
Levetiracetam is an anti-convulsant drug approved for use as adjunctive therapy in the treatment of epilepsy. Levetiracetam level may be affected by compliance, renal function, pregnancy, drug-drug interactions and timing of the sample draw. Levetiracetam drug concentrations should be used in conjunction with information available from clinical evaluations and other diagnostic procedures.
