Clinical Significance
The P50 represents the partial pressure of oxygen at which the hemoglobin oxygen saturation (SO2) is 50%. The P50 is a measure of the O2Hb binding characteristics and identifies the position of the oxygen-hemoglobin dissociation curve at half saturation
