Collect 7.0 - 10.0 mL into Red Top Tubes. Serum should be separated from cells with 2 hours of venipuncture.

Specimen Stability
Serum is stable for 14 days if Frozen.
Limitations
For patients with kidney failure. Urine drug screen is preferred to serum screen.
