56 adult patients receiving an average daily oral dose of 2300 mg had steady-state trough plasma concentrations averaging 33 mcg/mL (range, 18-52 mcg/mL).

26 patients ages 10-69 years receiving an average dose of 2685 mg had serum concentrations averaging 69 mcg/mL (range, 16-165 mcg/mL).

The ratio of whole blood concentration to plasma concentration is 1.0.
