Instructions
Acceptable specimen is a swab specimen from the anterior nares. Insert BBL Cultureswab Plus 1/2 inch into a nostril. Pinch the nose and rotate swabs against the interior of the nostril for approximately 3 seconds. Remove Cultureswab from the nostril and place 1/2 inch into the other nostril. Pinch the nose and rotate swabs against the interior of the nostril for approximately 3 seconds. Remove Cultureswab and place in Cultureswab tube. Transport promptly to the Laboratory.
