Instructions
"Collect specimen using pinworm paddles as follows:
1. Hold paddle by cap and remove it from the tube.
2. Separate buttocks and press tacky surface against several areas of the perianal region.
3. Return paddle to tube for transport.
4. Transport at ambient temperature. However, If there is a delay in transport of >24 hours, send specimen refrigerated.
Note: 1. Specimen is best obtained immediately upon awakening and before getting out of bed. 2. One specimen/day. "
