Minimum Volume
24 hour urine, refrigerate during collection.


Instructions
1. Obtain container
2. Patient to void at start of 24 hour period-discard urine. Timing is then begun.
3. Collect all urine for 24 hours
4. Refrigerate container during collection
5. At end of 24 hour period, patient to void - this urine must be included in the collection.
6. Deliver specimen to laboratory at end of collection period.
7. Container must be labeled with "Time Started" and "Time Completed".

Refrigerated: 14 days
Frozen: 3 months

 Male/Female Ages >=1 Day - <2 Months: 15-60 mL/24HR
Male/Female Ages >=2 Months - <6 Months: 250-450 mL/24HR
Male/Female Ages >=6 Months - <1 Year: 400-500 mL/24HR
Male/Female Ages >=1 Year - <2 Years: 500-600 mL/24HR
Male/Female Ages >=2 Years - <5 Years: 600-740 mL/24HR
Male/Female Ages >=5 Years - <8 Years: 650-1000 mL/24HR
Male/Female Ages >=8 Years - <16 Years: 700-1600 mL/24HR
Male/Female Ages >=16 Years: 1000-1600 mL/24HR
