Instructions
Peak level should be ordered as a TIMED specimen and drawn 1 hour after the completion of the dose.
 
Random level should be ordered as ROUTINE specimen and drawn within a four-hour timeframe.
For Dialysis patients, the Random must be drawn after dialysis treatment.

Room temperature: 24 hours
Refrigerated: 7 days
Frozen: 1 months


Reference Range
Test: Gentamicin, Peak Male/Female All Ages:
Normal Range: 6.0-10.0 ug/mL
Critical High : >=10.0 ug/mL

Test: Gentamicin, Random  Male/Female All Ages:
Normal Range: 0.5-10.0 ug/mL
