Instructions
- Preferred specimen is a mid-stream, clean catch sample.
- If a gray top (C&S preservative) tube is not received, testing will be cancelled and UA only will be ordered.
- If a red/yellow top (UA preservative) tube is not received, testing will be cancelled and CXURN only will be ordered.

Mislabeled and unlabeled specimens, delay in being sent to the laboratory/prolonged exposure at room temperature, contamination with feces, and QNS (quantity not sufficient) status.
