Specimen Stability

Room temperature: 24 hours
Refrigerated: 3 days
Frozen: Unacceptable

Reject Criteria (Eg, hemolysis? Lipemia? Thaw/Other?)

Specimens submitted at inappropriate temperatures, unlabeled or mislabeled specimens, insufficient quantities, submitted in wrong collection container or exceeds specimen stability requirements.
