Instructions
Collection Instructions:
- Draw the specimen without the use of a tourniquet or within 1 minute of applying the tourniquet.
- If testing cannot be performed within 90 minutes, draw in Grey top NaF/KOx, separate and freeze plasma.
Specimen Stability
Whole blood stability after collection: 90 minutes at room temperature (15-25°C)

Reject Criteria (Eg, hemolysis? Lipemia? Thaw/Other?)
DO NOT reject specimen if received within 90 minutes if not on ice.
Reject if NaF/KOx specimen is not separated and frozen.
Reject if NaF/KOx specimen is not separated and frozen.
