Instructions
Capillary: Use the first drop. Use a new fingerstick if a repeat test is needed.
Venous: Use only fresh whole blood collected in a non-anticoagulated plastic syringe. Use a needle at least 23 G or larger in size, and discard the first four drops of blood, then immediately place a drop onto the test strip being sure not to introduce air bubbles.
