Preferred Specimen
Tissue specimen are collected in a sterile container on 1-% neutral buffered formalin.
Products of Conception (POC) - When genetic testing is required, submit POC in Ringer's Solution or 0.9% normal saline noting Ringer's or normal saline on the specimen container. When the gestational age is >16 weeks in PA or >20 weeks in NY contact the laboratory for a fetal disposition form.

Instructions
