Plasma collected in a gray-top fluoride oxalate tube

Minimum Volume

0.5 mL

Instructions

Specimen must be collected without the use of a tourniquet. Specimen tubes must be half full, smaller volumes could result in a negative bias.

GUTHRIE CLINIC LAB, CORNING, TOWANDA, TROY: Deliver to lab immediately. Specimen must be spun and separated within 15 minutes.
CORTLAND: Tube must be sent to Cortland Laboratory on ice.
