Throat/Nasopharnyx Culture

Message
Because the agents of disease have specific culture and detection requirements, a routine culture is rarely indicated. In most cases, providers should request the appropriate test to identify specific pathogens, such as BORDETELLA PERTUSSIS CULTURE, THROAT STREP A CULTURE, etc.
