Tube must be filled completely to line and mixed gently 8 times.

Specimen Stability
Room temperature: 4 hours.
When testing is delayed more than 4 hours: Remove the platelet-poor plasma using a plastic pipette taking care to avoid the WBC/platelet buffy layer and transport platelet-poor plasma into a labeled aliquot tube. Freeze immediately. Frozen specimens are stable 14 days.

Reject Criteria (Eg, hemolysis? Lipemia? Thaw/Other?)
