Instructions
1. Disinfect site with 2% iodine.
2. Insert a needle with stylet at L1-L2 to L4-L6 interspace.
3. On reaching the subarachnoid space, remove the stylet and collect spinal fluid in a sterile, leak-proof container.
4. Label the specimen noting the source of spinal fluid.
