Preferred Specimen
Pap sample in PreservCyt ThinPrep vial.
Collect ectocervical sample using plastic spatula.
Collect endocervical sample using the endocervical
brush. Stir spatula or brush vigorously in the fluid
vial. Do not leave the brush or spatula in the vial.
