Instructions
TO COLLECT A 24-HOUR URINE SPECIMEN: At the hour selected to start the 24-hour period, have the patient urinate and discard. From that time collect all urine passed in a clean container and transfer immediately to this bottle. DO NOT HAVE PATIENT URINATE DIRECTLY INTO THE BOTTLE. Have the patient pass the last urine at the end of the 24-hour period and add this into the bottle. The container must be kept refrigerated at all times during the 24-hour collection.Collect a 24 hour urine in a plain 24 hour urine container and refrigerate during the collection

Clinical Significance
