Instructions
Labs performing cytology: Aliquot PreservCyt(R) or
SurePath(R) solution within 4 days of collection before
performance of liquid based cytology testing.

PreservCyt(R): Sample any visible lesions. Transfer 1 mL
of PreservCyt(R) solution into APTIMA(R) vaginal
collection tube (orange label) or APTIMA(R) specimen
transfer tube (green label). Ship to lab.

Surepath(R): Sample any visible lesions. Transfer 0.5 mL
of SurePath(R) preservative fluid into APTIMA(R) vaginal
collection tube (orange label) or APTIMA(R) specimen
transfer tube (green label). Ship to lab.
