Instructions
Collect 4 mL whole blood in a red-top tube (no gel).
Clot at 37° C. Centrifuge at room temperature and immediately separate serum.

Frozen: Unacceptable

This test was developed and its analytical performance characteristics have been determined by Quest Diagnostics. It has not been cleared or approved by FDA. This assay has been validated pursuant to the CLIA regulations and is used for clinical purposes.

Clinical Significance
This test can be useful for the detection of cold agglutinins in association with cold agglutinin syndrome
