Instructions
Routine venipuncture. Collect one 5ml Red/gold top serum separator tube.
Biotin (doses >5 mg/day)  Wait at least 8 hours following the last biotin dose.


Specimen Stability
5 days at 20-25o,  14 days refrigerated.

Solid-phase, one-step chemiluminescent enzyme immunoassay

Setup Schedule
Tuesday, Friday - PM Shift


Report Available
Within 24 hours of setup run.


Reference Range
Non reactive


Clinical Significance
Indeterminate and Reactive results will be sent out to the Monterey County Health Department Lab for further testing.
