Routine venipuncture. 1 4.5ml Light green top (heparin) tube or 5ml Red/gold top serum separator tube.


Specimen Stability
Room Temp, after centrifugation, for up to 2 days; do not refrigerate or freeze.


Reject Criteria (Eg, hemolysis? Lipemia? Thaw/Other?)
"Do not use hemolyzed specimen.

Methodology
Multiple point rate:The oxidation of NADH, which is monitored by reflectance spectrophotometry, is used to measure LDH activity.
