Instructions
 


Specimen Stability
Store in preservative vial at room temperature. Fresh, unpreserved stool should be transported to the laboratory within 30 minutes of collection.


Reject Criteria (Eg, hemolysis? Lipemia? Thaw/Other?)
Specimen too old; quantity not sufficient; more than one specimen per day; refrigerated or frozen stool; unacceptable preservative vial; overfilled vial
