Instructions

Routine venipuncture. BloodCollect one 4.5ml light green top (heparin) tubeor one 5ml Red/gold top serum separator tube

Specimen Stability

Refrigerate, stable 8 hours; stable 4 hours at room temperature; stable 2-3 days if frozen.Test should be performed as soon as possible due to poor stability at room temperature.

Reject Criteria (Eg, hemolysis? Lipemia? Thaw/Other?)

Insufficient quantity; gross hemolysis; failure to follow stability requirements
