Instructions

Nasal Swab Collection Procedure:
Only use the swab provided in the kit or Puritan sterile foam tipped applicator to be used.
Insert the entire absorbent tip of the swab into the nostril 1/2 to 1/3 of an inch. Firmly sample the nasal wall by rotating the swab in a circular path against the nasal wall 5 times or more for a total of 15 seconds, then slowly remove from the nostril.
Shipping and Handling Instructions:
Using the same swab, repeat sample collection in the other nostril. Insert the swab into transport tube and cap the tube tightly.
Do not return the nasal swab to the original paper packaging.
Please the swab in the clean, unused plastic tube labeled with patient name and collection information and cap.
