Clinical Significance
Myasthenia gravis (MG) is an autoimmune disorder affecting the neuromuscular junction. 80% of patients with generalized MG have serum antibodies to AChR - Blocking, Binding, or Modulating. Antibodies to MuSK make up a variable proportion of the remaining 20%.
