Instructions
United Hospital Center (UHC) samples will be ordered as LAB123012 and delivered directly to the Molecular Diagnostic Laboratory for testing.

Specimen Stability
 2-8°C for up to 6 months or 15-30°C for up to 4 weeks


Reject Criteria (Eg, hemolysis? Lipemia? Thaw/Other?)
Mislabeled samples or samples submitted with less than 1mL of volume.

Clinical Significance
High- risk HPV (hrHPV) testing results will indicate whether a patient is positive or negative for hrHPV types, and will also state whether a
patient is postiive for either HPV 16 and/or 18 (i.e. genotyping). Genotyping will be automatically performed on all patients who have
hrHPV testing performed. Performed on the Roche Cobas 4800.
