MessageThe sample must be collected and sent directly (Not via the pneumatic tube0) and immediately to the Blood Gas Laboratory located on the 5th floor Ruby Memorial.
The Blood Gas must be delivered to Respiratory Care at the following; Ruby Children's, Berkeley Medical Center, Jefferson Medical Center, Potomac Valley Hospital, Grant Memorial Hospital, Camden Clark Medical Center, Summersville Medical Center, Braxton County Memorial, United Hospital Center, St. Joseph's Hospital, Wheeling Hospital (ABG), Princeton Community Hospital, Bluefield Regional Medical Center.
The Blood Gas must be delivered to the Laboratory at the following; Fairmont Medical Center, Garrett Regional Medical Center, Jackson General Hospital, Wetzel County Hospital, Wheeling Hospital (VBG), Barnesville Hospital, Harrison Community Hospital, Reynolds Memorial Hospital, Thomas Memorial Hospital, Weirton Medical Center Hospital.
At the following locations Perfusionists will run their own Blood Gases; Ruby Memorial Cardiovascular Operating Rooms, Wheeling Hospital, Thomas Memorial Hospital.

This test is NOT available for outreach clients.
Must complete the required information to determine the type of blood gas you wish to perform by selecting the Specimen Source, as well as if the blood gas is Temperature Compensated. If do not indicate if temperature compensated it will default to no for temperature compensated.
