Preferred Specimen
Collect 2 Blue tops, send 2 aliquots of 3 mls platelet poor citrated plasma, placing 1.5 mls in each aliquot. Send frozen to UAMS Laboratory.
Send on Dry Ice.


Minimum Volume
3 mLs platelet poor citrated plasma.


Transport Temperature
Frozen on Dry Ice.


Setup Schedule
DAILY; SAMPLE CUT OFF IS NOON AT UAMS.


Report Available
Results should be same day if specimen is received by noon at UAMS.
