All hematology specimens are processed and stored at room temperature for 48 hours.


Reject Criteria (Eg, hemolysis? Lipemia? Thaw/Other?)
Hemolyzed specimens, anticoagulated specimens with clots, contaminated specimens, and specimens incorrectly labeled.


Setup Schedule
Performed on all shifts, everyday.


Report Available
WBC - <2.5 - >30.0 (all ages). Platelets - <20 - >850 (all ages)
