Instructions

Please call the Blood Bank prior to collecting to assure specimen is needed. Assure correct Positive Patient ID procedures were followed. Specimens outside of scanning compliance will be rejected. Specimens expire 3 days after the specimen is drawn and a new collection must occur if needed. Infusion Therapy and Surgical pre-admission patient specimens are exceptions and any questions should be called to BB.

Room Temperature: 7 days
Refrigerated: 7 days

Reference Range

An interpretive report will be provided.
