Clinical Significance
Acetone is present in some pharmaceuticals and cosmetics. Acetone vapors can be toxic at high concentrations. Isopropanol is present if rubbing alcohol. It is more toxic than ethanol when ingested but appears to be no harm when in contact with skin.
