This order must be used when CMO approval is required for the following tests.
  • Blood Culture – for patients on Comfort Care 
  • C. difficile – GDH Antigen/Toxin – for patients who have received a laxative in the previous 48 hours
After the Restricted Order is submitted to the laboratoy along with the required specimen, the lab will order the selected test.


Preferred Specimen
