Preferred Specimen
The ONLY acceptable specimen is a Scotch tape prep: 1-2 CLEAR scotch tape preps collected from perianal area prior to morning routine.
Instructions
Collect early morning just prior to morning routine.
1. Collect 1-2 scotch tape preps.
2. Separate the buttocks and press the tacky surface against several areas of the perianal region.
3. Transfer tape to clean glass slides with adhesive side down on slide. DO NOT USE FROSTED SLIDES.
