Clinical Significance
This is a qualitative screening assay that provides a preliminary result and is not intended for quantitative determination of drugs or intoxication levels. A more specific alternative chemical method must be used to confirm results obtained with this method.  Clinical consideration and professional judgement should be applied to any drug-of-abuse test result, particularly when evaluating a preliminary positive result.
