Clinical Significance
Identified antibody information is critical to proper selection of blood products for transfusion.

Actual tests performed are at the discretion of the Red Cross Reference Laboratory.

Tests most commonly used are antibody panel identification, elution, warm and cold autoadsorption, heterologous differential absorption, prewarm, neutralization, antibody titration, antigen testing, and the use of uncommon and rare donor registry.
