Urine Protein/Creatinine ratio < 0.2   < 0.2 is suggestive of normal total protein excretion.
> 3.5 is suggetive of nephrotic range proteinuria.


Clinical Significance
Proteinuria is characteristic of renal disease and concentrations may be increased with diabetes, hypertension, nephritic syndrome, and drug nephrotoxicity.
