Clinical Significance
DTT (Dithiothreitol) screen used for patients on Daratumumab.  The test can be performed on 1 pink top EDTA if the patient does not have underlying alloantibodies.  (DTT screen only needs to be done if Data patient is actively transfused, has a history of antibodies, transfusion history is unknown, or if the patient did not have a pre-treatment T&S prior to starting Daratumumab treatment.)

Needed to screen for underlying antibodies for patients being treated with Daratumumab (anti-CD38) that interferes with routine antibody screening tests that can be performed in house.
