Instructions
Collect the sample as usual according to the manufacturer's instructions. Note: Pelleted samples are stable for 14 days from the date of sample collection. Since the HPV Genotype assay is validated for liquid cytology specimens only, no other sample types are acceptable for this test. Both Cytyc ThinPrep and TriPath SurePath samples are acceptable.
