Urine preserved with 1 mL 6N HCl or 1 mL concentrated glacial acetic acid, protected from light • Catherized urine in sterile, plastic screw-cap container.


Instructions
Wrap container in aluminum foil to protect from light. Do not use preservatives.
Do not use first morning void, late evening specimen (after 8:00 PM), or specimen after excessive fluid intake. Keep refrigerated and transport refrigerated (cold packs).
