Instructions
Centrifuge specimens and remove the serum or plasma from the cellular material within 4 hours of collection.

Inpatient turn around time: Stat 30 minutes, routine 3 hours.  Outpatient specimens received by noon will be reported by 4:30 p.m.  Specimens received after noon will be reported by the next morning.
