Instructions
Avoid hemolysis.  Separate cells within 1 hour of collection.

Serum separator (gold top) or for Inpatients/MSTI/ED only lithium heparin (green or mint top)

Report Available
Inpateint turn around time: Stat 30 minutes, routine 3 hours.  Outpatient specimens received by noon will be reported by 4:30. Specimens received after noon will be reported by the next morning.
