Preferred Specimen
Collect nasopharyngeal specimen with mini-tip flocked swab in UTM media if additonal vial studies are indicated. If Influenza testing only is to be collected, use the mini-tip CoPan eSwab (blue cap).

Instructions
Collect 1 CoPan NP e-swab or UTM (mini flocked swab). The swab should be inserted into the nasopharynx for 30 to 60 seconds.
