Minimum: 0.2 mL of whole blood (0.1 mL of serum/plasma)


Instructions
For draw times contact the pharmacy. Remove serum/plasma from cells within 1 hour of collection.

Lithium Heparin (green top). No Additive Red Top or Serum Separator (gold top)

Report Available
Inpatient turn-around times stat 30 minutes, routine 3 hours.  Outpatient specimens received by noon will be reported by 4:30. Specimens received after noon will be reported by the next morning.
