Container/Tube: Screw-capped, sterile container
Specimen Volume: Entire collection
Collection Instructions:
1. Clean skin with 70% alcohol.
2. Scrape advancing edge of lesion with a sterile, glass slide into a sterile container.
3. Label container with patient’s name (first and last), date and actual time of collection, and type of specimen.
Note: Specimen source is required.
