Specimen Volume: Full tube
Collection Instructions: Blood to anticoagulant ratio is critical.
Note: 1. Results may be affected by hematocrit >55%.
2. Tube should remain stoppered.

Refrigerate <=30 minutes 


Specimen Stability
Specimen must arrive within 30 minutes of draw 


Reject Criteria (Eg, hemolysis? Lipemia? Thaw/Other?)
Grossly hemolyzed, clotted blood, or an insufficient specimen is not acceptable.

Reference Range
Normal clot insoluble after 24 hours


Clinical Significance
Useful for evaluation of poor wound healing.
