Swab-room temp. up to 12 hours, refrigerate up to 36 hours. Aspirates, fluids- refrigerate up to 6 hours.


Reference Range
No Staphylococcus Aureus detected (No MRSA)


Clinical Significance
Detects colonization of patients with methicillin-resistant Staphlococcus aureus.
