Instructions
Indicate patient's height & weight: on 24 hour Urine label. 'Collect 24 hour urine and keep refrigerated during and after collection..Hydrate patient with 600 ml. water and withhold tea, coffee & drugs on the day of the test. Keep patient hydrated.

Transport Temperature
Urine stable for 1 week if refrigerated. Unspun serum stable for 2 hours at room temperature, spun serum stable for 3 days at room temperature and 1 week if refrigerated.

See report for normal ranges.


Clinical Significance
Used to evaluate Kidney function.
