Instructions
Reflex test: If total CK is greater than 165U/L male or greater than 105 U/L, a CK-MB will be performed


Transport Container
Heparinized Green top tube or SST


Transport Temperature
Specimen stable for 4 hours at room temp. and 12 hours if refrigerated.


Reference Range
See report for normal ranges.


Clinical Significance
Determination of CK isoenzymes may be helpful in differentiating the site of muscle ischemia.
